Neil Fitzgerald joined Bishopsfield Capital Partners in June 2016, working within the Monitoring Advisory team. Neil has enjoyed a long and varied career in the Commercial Lending operations of a number of UK and International Banks and Building Societies, including National Westminster, Standard Chartered, Sumitomo Trust, Norinchukin Bank, Alliance & Leicester and Nationwide. Neil has over 30 years experience working in the City of London performing a succession of high-profile roles in Credit Risk and Relationship Management. Neil’s experience encompasses credit analysis, loan asset management and remedial credit management across the European debt market place. He has extensive experience working with commercial real estate, project finance, asset-backed credits, leveraged finance, corporate, financial institution and sovereign borrowers.

Neil has operated at a senior management level in several of his roles, and has managed large teams of analysts. Neil is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
