Arthur Moerman joined Bishopsfield Capital Partners in July 2022. His expertise lies in advising on and structuring complex credit risk solutions, with extensive experience in, amongst others, commodities, real estate and leveraged and structured finance.

Arthur has over 20 years of experience in banking and private equity investing. He began his career in 2000 in the Netherlands at MeesPierson Corporate Banking, later ABN AMRO, in leveraged finance. He moved to New York in 2003 and London in 2006 during which years he worked in leveraged and structured finance, underwriting numerous transactions across Europe and the US. In 2009 he moved to Amsterdam to work in risk management for several years before taking a role leading ABN AMRO’s investments in commodity finance ventures, where he set up a major new investment joint venture with institutional investors. In the years thereafter he set up sell side market access for ABN AMRO’s distressed debt department, executing numerous single asset and portfolio transactions with third party financial institutions. Arthur then moved into real estate private equity, where he spent 5 years immediately prior to joining Bishopsfield Capital Partners.

Arthur has served on the board of various charitable organizations. He holds an MA in Economic History from Leiden University.
