Gabriela Arias joined Bishopsfield Capital Partners in November of 2018 as a member of the monitoring advisory services team. She focuses on facilitating more efficient and informed issuer / investor decision-making for infrastructure, real estate and project finance debt capital market financings.
Gabriela is a qualified lawyer in El Salvador where she practised in in corporate finance and banking law. Prior to joining Bishopsfield Capital Partners she worked for Banco Azteca as an insolvency and restructuring litigation attorney, where she helped rebuild a new debt collection system as well as developing a new judicial recovery strategy.
She also holds an MSc in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford, an LL.B from Universidad Dr. Jose Matias Delgado, as well as post-graduates’ degrees from Yale University and Leiden University. In addition to her native Spanish, she speaks English, French and Italian. She is a former international fencer for El Salvador and the Oxford Blues Team.
